OK Christians, here's your chance...?

Question

I know a lot of Christians who keep telling me that I need to believe in God. Naturally, I ask them to convince me and they are never able to. They just keep giving me lines that basically mean because the Bible says so or because God wants you to. So here is your chance to convince me. What can you tell me to convince me that God really exists?

Give me something to convince me God DOESN'T exist.

but it's the little miracles that prove god exists. If you think God will do something big and almighty everyday, you're wrong. You know all the people who have survived terrible crashes, disastrous weather, and raging fires? That's the work of God.

Okay, you got me, I'll stop believing in what I've believed in all my life because somebody totally convinced me in one answer that I was wrong...

Oaky..well obviously alot ppl have been tryin 2 push there religon on u but i'm not going to do that. But heres how i know..when my bro died i was angry at the world and god..i thot there was no god and i had just been wasting my time with this so called god. I did some stupid stuff..endangered my health...my dad and mom where bth an emotional wreck and i just wanted to die. I was in and out of the hospital for and ed..then all of a sudden i realized that i was killing myself and i had such a brite future...i broke down..and i prayed. I prayd for god to forgive me for being so stupid, and 4 hating him...ignoring him. I prayd for him to hlp me get ovr my brothrs death..and within in the next month i found out that my mom was pregnant..now i have a 2 yr old brother...obviously someone answered my prays. Do u notice how our prayers r alwayz answered!! Mayb not the way we want them but they r answered. Also i have faith cuz we have such thing called a bible that tells the whole story.  THere is a greater pwr...that is GOd.  I'm sorry u havent found him..but i can tell u when u do ur life will b much bttr..and easier..sure sometimes god lets things happen that we dont understand...but thats when u have to turn to him..he will never give us more than we can handle. He loves us..he died for us.

This is all i can say to convince u..this is my personal story that restored my faith in god...and he is still taking care of me everyday. Hope this hlpd u.

Here is some scientific evidence that dinosaurs lived at the same time as man. Evolutionists will deny it, because it does not fit their theory, but yet the evidence remains. So if dinosaurs lived concurrently to man, then logically, biological evolution of species cannot be true. That leaves the existence of God and His creation.

Go to church...study the Bible... if you stand defiant you will stay where you are at.

A person will accept salvation only if they believe that they need to be saved....I can't convince you if you don't believe. Christianity is about faith...not proof. If you don't have it you don't have it.

The greatest evidence of God's existance is love.

That, and the platypus. I mean, come on, look at it. It's a mammal that lays eggs. it's a water dweller that has fur. It's part otter, part duck...

That's not evolution, that's intelligent design. That's God's work.

Besides, can YOU explain how the money in my wallet mysteriously doubled over night while I was staying at my husband's side while he was in the hospital? I mean, by any means other than a miracle. Or why it is that when I say the sorrowful mysteries on my Rosary, I feel phsical pain? Or why some people experience the Stigmata? Or how about incorruptables?

Also, it can't hurt to dare God. "Hey, if you exist and think you can, shake my foundations. Get to my heart if you think you can. I dare you."

well, people who don't believe in God are a minority, it seems like all of you have issues that prevent you from believing in him

things that are obvious are rejected by Atheist..

certain things don't require evidence when all it really takes is common sense

you have to have faith, sincerely seek God, that is the way to find him, you can't close your ears and heart in these situations, then say that there is no God when you haven't truly tried to seek him

unbelievers are very predictable with their thumb downs.. but the attitude they have towards God and Christians is what is blocking them from finding God/the truth

No one can convince you because you (seem to me) are cynical and don't want to believe in Him.  I can understand why people don't believe.  But to find God, you have to open your heart to Him and be willing to have faith and trust in God.  Here's your chance...if you really are interested, start by reading "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel.  He is a former Atheist who set out to prove that God didn't exist.  He ended up believing and converting to Christianity.

Believing is FAITH. To have faith means you believe in something even if there isn't obvious 100% proof of its existence.

I'm sorry. There is no scientific evidence that proves God exists. You don't have genuine faith, you're trying to figure out a reason why to believe in God.

Oh really, you're giving me a chance to convince you to follow the path of God?!  I'm... I'm so honored...  Well I could try to tell you what countless of people have told you before without quoting the Bible but I just don't think you'll listen.  Sorry mate, you made up your mind a long time ago if you wanted to step outside your safe zone and try to open your mind up to the Christians ways.  I can't help you on this one.
