Do your homework (the earlier the better, believe me!) Make an after school rota so that you can always be on top of your homework, giving you more time to yourself.

Go out with your friends often, to relax and forget about school

Don't make any fashion disasters- always stick to comfortable, simple clothes like jeans, flats, a t shirt and a cardigan/sweater/hoodie.

Take some gum or mints to school, so your breath is always fresh

Get at least 8 hours sleep at night so that you will always be full of energy

And enjoy yourself. Make the most of your life!

Lol good one... o wait? your serious?!  eh heheh. i'm going to be a freshman (yay) Well just a minute I'll put real answer in an edit

1. be yourself

2. don't give out too many secrets

3. do not, i repeat do not, let people walk all over you and push you around

4. try to reach out to some people you have the same interests with, like... if you like to paint, discuss it with someone

5. if someone tells you a secret, don't tell anybody

6. if someone asks you to tell a secret, just say, "i don't know anything about that!" or something like that

7. if someone asks if you want to know a secret... think about the person who is telling you, if they are always skulking around, say no, because it's usually a secret you'd rather not know, if it's a gossip, go fot it if you want, those secrets are usually quite amusing

8. be nice, don't be all moody and angsty or mean, or just a plain snob. smile at people who look sad, just be nice to everyone (not too nice though... it gets a bit creepy with the odder people)

9. if you get super mad at someone, think of the good things they've done, i know it's hard but... it's worth it to keep a friend

10. the last one, do your school work well, and make sure that you eat right and get some exercise in once in awhile! don't be a couch potato

hey i just graduated middle school and 8th grade was one of the best years of school by far. you're the oldest in the school, you get more freedom, and it's just a lot of fun! still try hard in school though because you have placement tests for high school in 8th grade! but no stress they don't count for all of your placement! still try hard though! just warning you, the teachers may think that you're a "hooligan" because you're the oldest in the school and officially "teenagers" but maybe that was just because my grade is a little bit crazy. good luck and enjoy 8th grade!

you don't "survive" 8th grade.... you ENJOY it! this is your last year in middle school and you are the oldest. have fun!

ha i hated 8th grade, it was the hardest year. I got like c's and b's, and when i hit high school, i got practically straight a's. My advice to you is to work as hard as you can, and strive for good grades!! Don't forget about friends, too because they will help you out when you need it the most!! Good luck!

Whats the problem? 8th grade is just another grade. Most likely be in the classes with the same people. The work is harder but its just like the past years. Study, Work hard and its an easy A. Nothing New. Enjoy 8th grade
