The testimonal is not under my name and picture. I went to view as public and it's not there. I asked my friend to go look and she didn't see it either. So how else can I get it on there. The only thing I have is Add,Offline IM and Send Message.

  1. You previously asked how to get the Testimonial button on your 360. The button/link is automatically on there, you don't have to do anything for it to display (or not display).

If you read my previous answer(s) thoroughly, I explained that YOU can't view the testimonial button. NOR can you view the testimonial button as a "public" viewer (or anyone else who is a "Public" viewer - including myself).

Your friend has to be listed in your "My Friends" module (and your private "My Friends" page). And only YOUR CONNECTED FRIEND can see the button. In other words, if your friend IS NOT completely connected to your 360, then they will never see the button/link.

If it's established that your friend IS CONNECTED to your 360 space and can't find a big "Write A Testimonial" button/link under your profile picture on the left side of the Top Page, then chalk it up as a glitch that can't be fixed.

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about it.

If you have to update your question with additional information, click on your avatar on the far left corner of most Yahoo Answers pages OR click on the "My Profile" link on the far, upper right corner of the page. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see tabs. The "My Questions" tab shows questions you've asked. Clicking actual question link will take you to the question, where you can click on the pencil icon under your question to add information.
