OK I asked this 2 times already and so far no answers...?

Do I need to apply to turn in an essay for a scholarship? It's not just one one scholarship, it's on all of them that I see.

On scholarships.com, under every essay/scholarship there is, there's a link that says "Custom Application Request Letter" and it makes a request letter for you, and you send it to the company who is giving out the scholarships. Do I have to have one of those in order to apply for the scholarship or can I just write the essay and email it to them using the link they have to submit my essay at? It says to submit your essay: with a link, but under at the bottom do I HAVE to have an application for it, and do they have to approve or whatever for me to get it?

I meet all the requirements to submit it.

And if I don't need it, why is the button there?

This seems like a pretty specific and irregular question which is why you haven't been getting answers.

I would presume you have too, or it will help you odds, but it is probably best if you contact them and find out.
