  1. Deposit for what?  For admission to the school?  I doubt that it will happen.  You would want to speak to the Admissions office about that for the school you are attending and find out what your options are.  I have very seldom seen this happen.  The one time I remember something being done was at a small school where the student had a full tuition scholarship to attend and financial issues.


  2. Depends on the school and what scholarships you have to cover costs.
