  1. First, check your league settings.  Some leagues can be quirky.  Look to see if it's a point per reception league, or if it for some reason favors quarterbacks.

Quarterback is a deep position in a fantasy context.  I would probably counsel you against taking Tom Brady, as tempting as the prospect of 40-50 TDs might be.

Tomlinson is the safe "bread and butter" pick.  He catches a lot of passes, and produces both yardage and touchdowns.  His injuries from last season were pretty minor.

    Other top players have flaws.

Peterson still shares carries, and is an injury risk.

Westbrook has been more durable of late, but is an injury risk.  His offense has no other serious weapons.

Addai isn't as prolific a TD producer.

Steven Jackson is coming off a series of injuries.

In my mind, you can take LT and still have the option of taking a great passer like Brees with your wrap-around picks.

  2. Ladanian Tomlinson for sure.

  3. Peyton Manning

  4. steven jackson

  5. LT

  6. Take a look at the point scoring system. Then look at the total fantasy points from last year. If you notice that more RBs had the most points last year, get a RB. If more QBs had the most points, get a QB. So maybe Tomlinson or Brady.

  7. take

    RB in the 32nd

    WR in the 33rd

    WR in the 64th

    WR in the 65th

    you'll have an edge.
