  1. Timer. :P

  2. try different ways and angles when takin photos til u find u that suits u best. natural poses r best, get sum1 else 2 take it of u. take as many as possible n then choose cos u mite regret deletin 1 l8r on. sorry i'm no gd @ photos so this is generally wot id say. also, if doin a full length photo hav a plain background wiv mayb a couple of objects. sorry i ***** b more help!  :)

  3. If you do mirror pictures, i reccommend looking at the screen, and seeing how it looks before taking it.

Also, make sure the flash is off , maybe set a timer

OH! and make sure you don't look down at the screen when you take it, look in the mirror.

Personally, i prefer regular photos- maybe get someone to take pictures for you =]

Good luck and I hope i helped =]

  4. go out with your friends etc. and get one person who probably dosen't like being in photos to take lots of pictures of you and you friends laughing and hanging around having a good time. a natural pic , they look better than pictures you take in a mirror.

  5. Just a question, do you plan to take the picture on your own? 'Coz if you do and your camera doesn't have any timer, you badly need someone to take it for you. Taking self portraits in front of the mirror is ok unless you'll edit it out later in the computer and crop some parts, otherwise, it looks bad.

  6. put your camera on the timer

  7. TRIPOD & CAMERA TIMER.

    its as simple as that.

make sure to position the camera so that it will be focused on where you are.

    good luck!

  8. Well I am not a photographer myself, but I did work as a Photo Editor once and I do know that usually if you use normal sunlight you will get 'Sharp Shadows' that can make you look like a 'Monster' :)

This can easily be softened by a 'reflector' (meaning for example a big sheet of white paper) that you use to put under your face reflecting direct sunlight with the sheet of white paper to your face from down under making the shadow's a lot softer.

The photo's instantly will look very professional if you do it right.
