  1. Dont pay attention to Miss Meme. Shes some sort of promotion troll or something, anyway.

Visit the apple store online and depending on what you want it for, ie just songs or songs/videos, they have a variety with different sizes. so if you have alot of songs get one with a leager capacity. hope that helps a lil

    :)

  2. You can go to your local department store and they will most likely have iPods. The prices will vary. In my opinion the best kind in The iPod Classic, it holds alot of memory but it is very expensive. A cheaper, but still very good one, is the iPod Nano 3rd generation. Most come in many colors, but usually the colors other than silver are more expensive. To find out prices, and buy one, go to this website here  http://www.apple.com/itunes/, there will be a scroller and you just pick which iPod you want, and then prices will come up.And the only legal way to get the songs is to pay for them. To get songs you have to download iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/. Song cost about 99 cents. Albums vary from about 3 dollars to 5 dollars. To purchase songs you can buy an iTunes card, or you can use your credit card. And the batteries are rechargable. Its too hard to explain how they work, but it is very easy and there will be an insrtuction manual when you buy one. Hope I helped :D

  3. I would say for sports activities your best iPod would be the iPod Nano. This is the most popular one, it is the smallest one with a screen and the newest ones can play video too. The coolest thing for you about an iPod Nano is that you can buy a little thing from Nike that goes in your shoe and tracks your mileage with running and syncs it to your iPod - you can program entire workouts, it's pretty cool. My brother uses it because he's training for a marathon.

Anyway, the Nano comes in a couple different sizes - 4 GB & 8 GB. 4 GB would fit about 1000 songs and 8 GB would fit about 2000 songs but the Nano can do video too so if you are going to put video on it, it won't be able to fit as many songs (because videos take up more space).

Nanos cost b/t $150-200. If you don't want to spend that much and aren't interested in the iPod doing video and all that, the shuffle costs between $50-70. The shuffle doesn't have a screen and is the most basic iPod - it plays the song and you click "next" until you get to one you want to hear. Basically, it just "shuffles" songs...:)

Beyond the nano and shuffle, there is the iPod classic, a bit bigger and a bigger screen for videos, and the iPod touch which does basically everything the iPhone does (short of being able to call people).

I would start by looking at apple.com, then going to the iPod tab to do your own research and seeing what looks like will work for you!

You can buy them from target, or amazon, or best buy, or the apple website. When I bought mine I was able to use a student discount and got it a little cheaper from the apple website. You might want to look into if you have that option too.

Songs cost .99 from the iTunes store, or you can upload songs to your computer from CD's. Another option a lot of people don't even realize is the amazon music store - most of their songs are .89 and aren't protected - meaning that they can be played on any music player and shared more easily among friends - unlike the iTunes store where the songs you buy can ONLY be played on an iPod and can only be shared with up to 5 people.

The batteries are installed in the iPod and it just needs to be charged whenever it gets low, you don't ever need to change them.

    Good luck!

  4. go to apple.com and that should answer most of your questions

I have an ipod classic which is pretty cool the start at about $249.

    The nano starts ar $149

Yes you have to pay for songs 99 cents per song or $9.99 for album

They come with there own internal battery which you charge

  5. It depends on what sort of iPod you buy for cost. There are ones for €60 (nice and simple to use iPods without screens), there are ones for €350 (video iPods where you can put movies on them) (forgive me for putting them in €uros, about $90-$500 we'll say). The average iPod with a screen but no videos would be about €100. You can buy one in any electronics store. When you get your iPod you'll get a disc with it for iTunes which is the organizer for all your songs on your iPod. The legal way is to buy songs at about 99c from iTunes (once iTunes is installed you'll see it easily enough) but you can download them for free through (illegal) programs such as limewire. And yes, they have rechargeable batteries, just plug it in for a few hours and its charged

  6. instead of buying a TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR ipod , i went to this website after i heard about it on CNN.

you answer surveys and accumulate credit. Then after you’ve got the points you use them to go shopping on the site, or if you don't find anything you like you can use it on Amazon, or Ebay. I am seriously not kidding. I thought it was fake at first but I bought a bunch of stuff on Amazon with the points I accumulated, an: IPOD TOUCH, NIKE SPORTS BRA (hey! i couldn’t find one in my size in stores lol), and A NIKE TRACK JACKET. Now I’m trying to get a MAC NOTEBOOK (LAPTOP).

For every survey you get about 1.5-1.70 points (aka cents and dollars)

    1.Go to the website below

2.Sign up and put in the information they ask for like your name and adress. (It's okay if you put your real adress because they don't send you junk mail.)

(I would advice you to make a “junk mail” email address like on yahoo or something. Cuz the survey companies send you a bunch of junk email. thats the price you have to pay. But its a small price. JUST DON’T use you regular email address. (like the one you used to get a answers.yahoo account)

If you still have questions, the website has a link on the right side that has already-answered questions that people previously asked.

    TRY IT OR BUST!

It ths isn't enough info, there's a link on the website that gives you a hella bunch of info.

    GOOd lUcK!!!!!
