  1. I have pierced about 300 + ears in my lifetime, and 10 holes in my   own, and have always used a brand new sewing needle, the large

thicker size to be exact, with all perfect results, and never any

infections or problems. I have always also held the tip of it in fire,

to sterilize, and alcohol to clean it afterward. As far as places that      do piercings, I think that is the fastest way, and also they do

sterilize, so I do not think that thats a problem. Just be sure to

let it heal with a good quality earring, not some cheap one to decrease the chance of infection. With that said, good luck!

  2. Yes you will its not safe GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. wow...I think it would be best if you just got it pierced by a professional piercer instead of trying to do it yourself at home.  I know two people who tried that and they got an infection.

  4. dude go to a professional now!

  5. i would sugest geting it professionally done at a highly rated tatoo parlor or an earring store such as claires. doing it yourself is not the best idea, because it can get easily infected

  6. Ok, my advice would be not to do it by yourself but to get it done by a pro. However, if you decide to do it by yourself you should know that if you do it with a needle yes you could get Tetanus and that there are special earrings which are sharp in order to pierce the ear. I myself pierced my own ears and don't worry it's not painful if you rub your ears with soap first and then put alcohol on your ears to make them feel numb also you can put ice and of course you must put alcohol on the earrings to clean them as well! So hope i helped, good luck!

  7. Oh the ER people are going to looooove you.

  8. That is what I used on my ears and nose. It's completely safe as long as you sterilize your ear and the needle with rubbing alcohol, and a steady hand.

After you sterilize,it should be fine.

  9. I did mine 3 times with a piercing earring. I froze my ear with ice and didn't feel anything until my ear thawed out ;) Then it just felt slightly bruised. If you use a needle just disinfect it and your ear and your fingers. Just be warned that you might not be able to get the earring in... and that part will hurt a lot. Have fun!!!

  10. huh my sister pierced her noise with one

I don't think you can get tetanus

but you should either get it professionally done or buy an earring gun from Wall mart there real cheap like 6$

but if you still decide to do it with a needle take disinfection wipes and make sure its clean and if you don't have any burn the tip of the needle with a lighter or match to kill the germs

its really hard I wouldn't recommend it

my sister still has the noise ring and all but she could have got it infected

    good luck

    god bless!

  11. dudee. its never smart to do stuff like that at home.

just go to a proffesional and get it done.

&& it shouldnt cost that much either.

  12. yeah, it will most likely get infected and hurt a c**p load and look ugly.

  13. you wont get tetanus unless its rusty.

get a lighter and put the tip of the needle in the flame, even thought its new there will still be germs on it and its needs to be sterile.

you can also put the needle in an alcohol, like metho.

you would probably need to numb your earlobe with ice to help with the process...

where are you piercing your ear?  its if the lobes its not too bad... but please don't pierce your cartilage on your own... nerves run through this part of your ear, if you pierce the nerves you could end up with paralysis of the face etc... its dangerous...

my advice would be to get it done professionally.

go to a hairdresser, they're cheap and they know  what they're doing... a tattoo/piercing place will be the best place to go.

it you try to do it yourself, its gonna hurt like h**l!!!! going to someone else, it will be over before you know it and you wont feel a thing.

doing it yourself is very silly. don't do it.

    hope that helps

  14. you should really go to a piercing place and not do it yourself. that's not a good idea. let someone who's trained do it for you.
