OK an a person go under water without drowning?

what i mean is art we liveing in water before we get born beckuse i seen this movie and this guy had to breath water and he had to go to the bottom ove the sea this is a very tough i doing my best at trying to ask so please help me out here is it possible.

  1. the movie was the abyss, wasn't it? the guy was breathing some sort of water-like fluid, and he had it in his scuba helmet thing. when people (and other mammals) are in the womb, they are probably in that. humans can't breathe regular water. if you try that, you'll probably damage your lungs or something.


  2. yes it is possible when we are in the womb we can survive in water as we are in the fluids in the womb and we survive however this is because oxygen is supplied another way

    check out free-divers they can survive for ages underwater

    due to a huge lung capacity.

    the only thing that would prevent a person from going deep into the ocean is the underwater pressure apart from this if you have a huge lung capacity and can hold your breath for a long time it is possible.

    the record for holding breath is 15 minuets 58 seconds so this person could survive under water but only for this amount of time

  3. I'm pretty sure then when in the whomb we have some sort of suply for oxygen [like a tube maybe] but we can't live in water because we don't have the gills to recieve the oxygen.
