OK i am looking at buying golf clubs

but I have never really paid attention to the brands so I dont really know the top brands or anything. I am not a pro golfer or anything so i don't need the top brands at all. So wat is a good golf brand, not to expensive but with good quality.

well i would personally suggest to get a set of 200$ clubs then get a really decent driver (because there is allot more technology in drivers then any other clubs) there are three really good drivers for a really good price.

1. Taylormade burner (not the tour burner or burner tp)

2. Adams insight xtd a3 (or a3 os if u have a slice )

3. last years nike sasquatch sumo 2 (5900 is this years but its 200$ more )

(all the drivers i have listed are 200$ or less if u got top the right store)

I would recommend if you are just starting out that you not worry about going to high of a brand set.  I work at a Play it Again Sports in amarillo Texas, and we have many sets that are high quality package sets and you won't have to break your bank account.  I think the best way to go is get a good package set that is around 200 bucks untill you know that you are serious enough to whip out 800 dollars for just a set of irons.  Some good package sets include, hippo, dunlop, nicklaus, and even aspire.  These aren't proline clubs, but they are clubs that are made well and will last you a long time.

Also if you go to a play it again sports you might be able to find a really good brand name set like titleist or taylormade used for a really good price.  Sometimes you can find some really good used golf clubs!
