Will he anytime soon be able to drop Hornswoggle and get back to being The Fighting Irish Ba$tard and get an ECW Title reign, He surley does not have alot of time left, but I wanna see him with a WORLD TITLE at least once in his career. Also do you think he will make it into the Hall of Fame once he has retired?

His underated his the one that should be in contention for a title not Matt. This angle with hornswoggle is rubbish I think he should go back at being a heel which is the role he plays best.

As a face, Hornswoggle is the one thing keeping him over, and he's the one thing that could possibly make him a face world champ. If he dumps off Hornswoggle and turns heel as a result of it, he might get enough heat to warrant an ECW title reign. I don't think they'll ever give him a shot at the world or WWE title, unfortunately, but the ECW title would work well around his waist. He won't sell merch like crazy, but the guy deserves it and he doesn't have to be a big draw to be ECW champ.

Personally I'd love to see Finlay with a world title reign. Here's a guy who can put on great matches at forty-nine years old, and is still chugging. He's just got a unique style that keeps him almost injury free and translates to top notch matches.

I think that he manages to get either an ECW title or a world title, then he's got a pretty decent chance of entering the HoF, especially with many of the huger stars already in the Hall. If he doesn't, then he's going to find it pretty hard to get in.
