I'm a little saddened by the Cats trading Kingy out (for pick number 90!!!) but I understand the whole salary cap thing. What do you think is the worst trade?

Ray A, not so much disappointing but Essendon are a joke,they have a terrible list and decided that it didn't need any improving i think the wheels are falling off-it wouldn't have happened if Kevin was still there.

Geelong trading King was by far the most disappointing but I think the intention was always there prior to the GF.

I believe the Cats replaced Blake with King in the GF to give King the opportunity to win a Premiership and leave with something.  Blake will have another opportunity, theres no doubt the Cats will make the finals in '08.

I'm just glad Collingwood didnt dump Didak!

Melbourne gave up Travis Johnstone for pick 14 - crazy fools. Now Brisbane will have an even stronger midfield and Johnstone will improve heaps now he's not surrounded by losers.

Yeah, I have too agree with you there. I was surprised when I heard that King was traded. St Kilda would have been rapped to get this deal.

I think it was a good gesture from Geelong - they copped a draft pick they know they won't use to ensure that Kingy continues playing AFL football even if not at Geelong. Nice to see, just like it was nice to see the way they treated the Auskick kids when they won the flag. Haven't liked Geelong since the '94 Prelim Final, but this is a team that's showing some genuine class on and off the field; it's getting hard not to like them...
