Now farmers grow food and We buy that from them. Luxeries are made by someone and we pay for that. Everything someone has made we buy which is rightfully so. Land on the other hand was created by no human and we were all born on this planet. What if we all had land to build a house on and grow a small garden without paying high prices to someone else. It would be somewhat of a solution. It would get rid of some government assisted programs, 30 year morgages and rent (which is basically throwing your money in the toilet). People would be less dependent on the system and more self sufficient. Now if someone else builds your house that is another story. What if land was not something that people could capitalise on and make big profits. It would also make it to where you have to work to make money instead of owning something that has been around longer than the human race. Just a thought to ponder. I would like to know how different people think.

  1. This has been tried dozens of times and no one has figured out how to make it work.  Now if there were very few people in the world and those people were so spread out that they didn't see each other unless they wanted to this could work because no one would "value" land very high anyway.  This is how the nomadic tribes worked it.

But if I "owned" a place of land and gave it to my daughter when I died, then what would happen to my son?  How would he "get" land if it is all divided up and handed out already?
