Argue your point for which candidate your voting for, I'm curious? Who are you voting for and why...

REAL reasons... none of this " experience" " race" BS

I get it... Mccain- old, experienced...

Obama- new, inspiring...

Something else besides mudslinging...

I'm just curious who can come up with something, IF ANYTHING!

  1. Obama because on many major issues, like Afghanistan, Iraq timetable, Talkig to Iran, etc Obama said months ago and in some cases years ago, his stances on these issues.

Put more troops in Afghanistan. They ridiculed him and called him a rookie, but they now agree.

Set a timetable that the Iraqi gov't agrees with and let them take over. McCain said it was irresponsible, but that's exactly what's happening now. And now that the Bush Admin is making it official, McCain calls it Victory, when just a few weeks ago, he accuese Obama of being willing to lose the war.

Obama said he would talk to our enemies like Iran, but McCain called it a mistake and foolish. Guess what the bush administration is doing?

I'm voting for Obama because he has GOOD JUDGEMENT.

  2. Obama- because he is hot...

    haha. j/k

Ask yourself: Have lowered the prices of fuel and gasoline since then? Has improved the economy and the family budget is more for their needs? Do you and your family feel safer at home, in your community, in schools, airports, universities, Etc.. ,after they have crushed the phrase "National Security" time after time; and supposedly improved the safety of us creating the "Patriot Act" and the office of Homeland Security? Do Freedom and civil rights of citizens are better protected now with these measures and agencies Bush has created? Do you agree with the concept of pre-emptive war and tortures for extra-judicial interrogations in secret prisons in Europe and other parts of the world like in Guantanamo and Abud Garihb? Does the world have better perception of United States of America and ours athletes, tourists, students and residents in others countries feel more secure? Does the issue of immigrants is better served? Are there fewer children of Latino descent without parents? Are there more people possibilities to pay on time their mortgages and have safer homes? Are there more people with the right to access quality health care, or more than 47 million inhabitants are without that right, while making genocidal wars in the other hemisphere of the planet at trillions costs as well sending space's shuttles frequently?. Had improved education for all? In general, America's society, does feel more secure, without fear of terrorism after the war? If the answers to the above questions is a resounding NO. It must be and can be changed...

If you want this state of things does not reach a point of no return, you must exercise your right to vote in the Democratic primary and later in general election in nonovember by the only person that represents your feeling and hopes; that is Barack Obama. Perhaps this great opportunity of true change will never be presented to us again.

  3. First choice would be Nader but his VP is iffer than McCains second choice Obama waiting for debates. Let Nader debate.

  4. Mudslinging is what Obama calls it when his history in Rev Wright's Church, Muslim history, job at Acorn, his elementary school or anything like that gets brought up.

  5. Democrat ticket

Why? Look what has become of America, we want our country back in our control and not owned by other countries! We want our jobs back and our home!

  6. I'm voting for McCain because I believe in capitalism.

  7. McCain

His energy policies make sense. WE NEED OIL.

His economy will create strong and long term growth.

His foreign policy and national security will help stop terrorist attacks both at home and abroad.

  8. obama has absolutely NO experiense

    ZEROOOOOO!!

you can name hundreds of things mccain has accomplished and to why he would be an excellent president...mccain will keep this country SAFE! he will finish this war to where we will never have to go back into war or let the war come over here...has EVERYONE forgotten about 9/11?!

Don't you all know that the people that we are at war with is AGAINST US, hates us! They want us destroyed!! They go by THEIR bible, and whoever is against it, should be murdered, and murdered in a horrible way! Mccain will not ruin this country, he will make it better and having Palin by his side is icing on the cake! Both of their power together will make this country that much more stronger!! Palin is a pure example of an everyday average woman!

Obama, oh gosh...once he gets into office, he will pull us out of war, so basically what we did was for nothing, the countries we are at war with, WILL come to attack us again, whether you all believe it or not, but they will! They will see our leader and know exactly what to do, they aren't stupid! Obama has done nothing besides act all positive and be this super geniune guy when its completely fake! He will RAISE taxes, give more to the poor, which is insane....i can go on and on.,...obama is just not going to be a great president and hopefully everyone will soon realize it.

  9. I read Sen Obamas Blueprint For Change.

    http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/ObamaBlue...

  10. I can't make this very breif. I go to politifact for my information and watch the candidates do research etc. I live in Phoenix and have been active in politics for 50 years so I do not buy a lot of the McCain hype. Sort of a middle of the road Democrat. Who grew up Republican and sometimes swing votes.

I am voting for Barack Obama because the idea that he is inexperienced is false. He has the same kind of experience the drafters of Constitution had a very broad and intelligent understanding that to defend the Constitution is to defend the Nation. The miliary is their to defend the Constitution as it was written and adopted.

McCain has no interest in the Constitution. He defends the Country not the heart and soul of why our democracy has survived where others have failed. He has done this all his life talked the talk and failed the test when it was time to stand up for principles or do policy.

Just when I call his office to support him on an issue, he pulls the rug out and if maverick means never knowing where he stands really he is a maverick.

He is willing to give us a Vice President who is only a wacky evangelical very far from the Center then claims he wants to represent us all. He flatly states that he will overturn abortion, ridicules science as wasteful spending and is willing to keep borrowing and strengthening China's economy rather tha pay for the War upfront. Our banks collapsed China is doing much better because of all the interest we are paying on our war debt. So his win at all costs and sacrifice nothing has gone on so long that real people of principle that are Republicans are being pushed out of the Party by those who would fight to defend their personal interests over th Constitution, Fiscal responaible and taking care of our own Countries needs over their wants.

Also all of us who are older have seen people mentally start slipping as a natural consequence of old age which is experence and being ovre 50 are not qualifications for President. It is not age and vitality phyically its that one of prices of longer lives is that we do not have the same medical skill in undoing mental damage, having strokes impair thinking etc. And McCain seems to be forgetting how many houses he has, whether Rick Renzi is still one of his campaign chairs, the difference between Sunni and Shitte. Its natural that some of these mistakes occur in long and tiring campaigns but when they get too numerous and seem to be important it is a serious question.

For those of us near his age or who have parents near his age we know that when that process starts we start to lose our loved ones as we know them. I do not want to risk that forgetting in order to have a person whose finest hour happened 40 years ago.

So that is honest and thats my reason for voting. My husband and I have both always felt that science and education were very important.

We have not raised our children to judge others they both have advanced degrees in science. One actually studies DNA so McCain's cute little bear statement shows a total ignorance of science and what it does for everyone. So does his VP. She is oil and evengelical not chosen for the good of the Country.

McCain sold us out as a Nation. And Obama looked at what we were facing internationally and who is the most skilled to hand tha problems of Foreign Policy. That is the difference. Intelligence, commitment and integrity plus putting the real needs of the Country first not necessarly who his followers would like or who might get him votes but the best foreign policy person around. Thats what i want in a Prseident.

  11. Mccain

    he is the better choice

  12. No more war and universal healthcare sounds good to me. I mean, the war is being funded by.....china....because we are borrowing money frm them...so we will have to find a way to pay them back as well as clear up our own deficit...everyday we are over there we go further into debt....

  13. Not Obama--taxes + will MAKE people give = SOCIALISM! x vote against born alive infant protection act = Barbarian! / Lack of patriotism + Black supremacism = No vote!

    McCain = Patriotic + history of service + Protection of the helpless + pro-democracy + pro-capitalism = My vote!

  14. No-one ... they're all idiots!

  15. McCain has exactly the same plans that Bush has been providing this country with for eight whole ******** years. I'll be damned if people actually vote for McCain. I want to be able to tell my kids that I was in the time zone when the USA had it's first black president!

  16. Obama he is for the working class and not for the rich. McCain is for the rich to get richer. I would love to have a tax cut and rich to pay more taxes. McCain and Palin want to put every body this is not white or straight on a bus out of the country. Obama is the only one for real change and MCain is the same has Bush and whos needs 4more years of Bush..

  17. Tax reductions for all vs. Progressive taxation.

  18. This is answers, not debates.

  19. First, this is not a question. Ok like seriously.

  20. McCain I will go for McCain any day of the week I don't care if he preaches fire and brimstone, or if he races taxes or whenever he does I'm still going to stay with McCain.

Obama I know his nature it is like having something on your shoes that you can't get off.

  21. Obama...Democrat. McCain...Republican.

Therefore, Obama by default. look what the last republican did

  22. .im basing it solely on race and experience.

  23. Really, this year I'm going to be voting against someone instead of voting for someone. I'm very conservative myself and both McCain and Obama are too liberal for my liking. One thing about the elections I don't like is that we don't even know who else is running until we go into that booth. Then, surprise, there is like 6 or 7 candidates but you only know about 2 of them. Democrat or Republican.

I guess those two parties have cornered the market on politics and own the media.

  24. okay, I will bite. I will vote for McCain because while i am ashamed of the Bush admin....and I AM republican for the most part, I just think Obama's "inspiring" promises are a little far-fetched and his "socialist" ideas scare me to death. I believe that a government should help the people but not limit them which is what Obama's admin will do. It does say alot to me that even Hillary would not join him on the ticket (even though they practically begged her).

McCain is okay...I am not CRAZY about him or anything but I do agree with most of his ideas.

I am not going to vote for somebody based on their ability to make a good speech (like Obama) because they are just "acting" in my opinion and just telling people what they want to hear.

I will vote and consider McCain the best of the two choices. Voting is very important in this country so I will not just be like some and say "there is nobody to vote for"...that is so lame.
