  1. Well, it sounds like this is a lesson in "you can't always get what you want."  He's just going to have to live with it.

  2. This is hilarious! I knew with the spelling and grammar this couldn't be a 30 yr old man!! So it's nice to see you are 13 in your other questions.

I don't know where you found a queen size day bed from either or why a boy would have one. That would be the first thing I would do is get rid of that, get a twin, and move back into the smaller upstairs room.

Chihuahua's shake and shiver a lot no matter what the temp so that doesn't mean that the dog is cold. As for the basement being cold at 60, are you kidding?! That's a comfortable temperature! If this is a real situation, you will sit down with your dad and find a way to make this work that suits everyone, not just yourself.

  3. First of all if it is too cold for a dog down stairs why is your son down there. Why should he live in a part of the house you see as unfit for a dog to be in. Now as to the dog 60 is not too cold for it chihuahuas often shiver and shake they are small. But my dogs which is a 5 pound mini pom prefer a cooler temperature. I feel you need to listen to your son and see if there is not another reason he would like to move back upstairs. Maybe you should consider switching rooms with him.

  4. Get him a smaller bed and move the "office" to the basement.  A kid doesn't NEED a queen sized bed.

  5. Well you can either give the kid his old room back move to another home or build the kid a new room.

He's your son and if he can't get along with his brother and has his own room he should use it.

If I had two kids I'd have a three bedroom home at least, 4 if I ever expected guests.

  6. Chihuahuas always shake. But yes they get cold easily. Mine loves to snuggle under the covers to stay warm.  17 YO should be graduating and moving out in a year or so, then you;ll have more room, until then, like the other person said "you can't always get what you want". Make do with what you got.  Kids can always get a job, pay rent and then you can have a bigger place. Bet they prefer no work, small room.
