  1. Att&t of course....unless your in financial trouble like Fedorov was then your stuck with boost mobile pay as you go c**p.

    Old Devils smOOth skaters were.

    Sean Burke in net.

    Neidermeyer

    Shanny-Hanny

    Pat Verbek

    and now Zack Parise...

I was a serious goaltender growing up my idols where, Kelly Hrudey, Patrick Roy, and Ed Belfour.

  2. Holmes, I got hungry and shot down one of your pigeons. Sorry...

I think it depends on the region. Rogers is huge in Ontario (and possibly in Montreal), while Telus is bigger than them out west...but not so much in Ontario. Plus, I don't know what's going on down in the states, but the Canadian government just auctioned off the (airtime? airwaves?) rights so new, more competitive companies will be up and running this time next year so that may change. Oh, this is a bullcrap question?

  3. I am at war with my phone provider ATM.  Not going to plug any of the legalized criminal gangs.

Two of the best skaters I ever saw were Bobby Orr and Paul Coffey.  Yvan Cournyer, Russ and Geoff Courtnall, Frank and Peter Mahovlich, Guy Lafleur and Bobby Hull all better than average forwards with plenty of power and speed.

Any goalie list should include Jacques Plante.

I admired Bobby Orr and Borje Salming.

  4. My guess on the phone company issue, would be Verizon considering they're the only company to have NHL commercials, and the players probably get free phones/service. My favorite player growing up was Rob Ray of the Sabres. I love a player that will hit his own mother if she is wearing the other team's jersey.

  5. Kaberle is an extremely smooth skater.  I also think that Frank Mahovolich and Rocket Richard were good.

I love Mats Sundin....but would he make a decision already??

  6. I don't own a phone, the best way to communicate is still by carrier pigeon.

    Real Question:

    RW:  Gordie Howe/Maurice Richard (homer)

C: Phil Esposito was a smooth skater. So is Sergei Fedorov.

LW:  Toe Blake was good.  Rick Martin was good on the French connection

D:  Not a big fan of the guy, but Sheldon Souray is a great skater.

Goaltender:  Roy, he always looked elegant skating to center ice to drop his gloves.

I almost forgot Tiger Williams was a pretty smooth skater, as well.

Bonus:  Wayne Gretzky was EVERY kid's idol in the 80's.

thelau:  I heard it "tastes just like chicken".....or was that it "tastes just like c**k".

  7. larry robinson for montreal----played very well-----gentlemanly-----was a delight to see him play and here him talk in interviews-----trying to talk french was a bonus

  8. Obviously most players prefer AT&T in the United States. If they didn't why would the AT&T questions get put in the hockey section? In Canada, it would be either Telus, Bell/Aliant or Rogers. I hate Rogers Cable service; Ben Mulrony annoys me with the Telus (or tell us) statements on Canadian Idol; so I'll go with Bell.

    C - Beliveau

    W - Lafleur

    W - Richard

    D - Robinson

    D - Harvey

I can't believe I just named a team of the best skaters and they were are all Canadiens.

    BONUS:

I'm still growing up; I guess Forsburg or Sakic. I liked the Avalanche when I was younger, I still do actually.

  9. In the 1960's an All Star team selection of Smooth Skaters would be

    Centre - Jean Beliveau

    Right Wing - Gordie Howe

Left Wing - Senator Frank (Mahovolich)

    Defense - Doug Harvey

    Defense - Leonard "Red" Kelly

Goaltender Glenn Hall (Yes even goaltenders can skate)

This was as smooth skating bunch of players ever seen in the game.

As a Leaf fan the following players were smooth skaters.

Bower, Salming, Kaberle, Mahovolich, Antropov, and Sundin.

Three from this decade, two from the sixties and one for all time.

Bonus even though he wasn't a Leaf - Gordie Howe.

  10. Verizon. It is the official sponsor of the NHL.

Forward I would have to say that Federov and Mike Gartner are two of the smoothest forwards I have seen skate. On Defense, Bobby Orr and Scott Neidermayer.

Bonus =Bobby Orr and Gordie Howe(Though both before my time) Grandpa told me all about them and have watched highlights of them .
