OK one more question, NASCAR fans where are you from and do you root for the hometown hero??

I'm from Tennessee. I don't know many full time NASCAR drivers from here anymore. There were a few in the 80s and 90s and before. But my favorite driver out of every NASCAR series there is, is Trevor Bayne. He's from Knoxville, Tennessee and I used to race go karts with him, too, so that's pretty cool and I think he'll do great in the cup series.

Well, being from South Dakota there are no drivers from the immediate area. My top two drivers happen to both be from Indiana (Ryan Newman &  Tony Stewart), but I liked them before I realized where they were both from. So where they are from had nothing to do with why I root for them.

Yeah, We used to pull for Wild Bill from Dawsonville back in the day. I liked Davey Allison too as well as Neil Bonnett. I live in Georgia with a college stay in Alabama previously. Now I'm a Kevin Harvick fan. He's one of the only ones with any personality these days although Helton and Brian France have almost snuffed that out as well...

I'm originally from NJ, l live in South Carolina now. And yes I do pull for Truex as well Jr, how couldn't I we went to the same high school and I visited the Truex race shop many years ago.

h**l yeah. i'm a military brat and an itinerant internet consultant who works from wherever, so i've moved A LOT. but the brothers busch were the hometown heroes back when i lived in vegas, where i caught a terminal case of "nascar fever"

I live near Winston-Salem NC....the closest teams to us are RCR and Bill Davis Racing. To me....it'll always be #43. I grew up in Galax VA which is close to Stuart VA (original home of Wood Bros Racing) so most of the folks loved the #21 and hated me for liking the #43. Fun Question!

I'm from Texas and was a Rusty Wallace fan before he retired and now I'm a Kurt Busch fan but I do pull for Bobby and Terry Labonte because they are from Corpus Christi Texas. Always liked Texas Terry.

None from here that I know of except the Bodine's grew up not too far away (upstate New York).  I still root for Todd in the Pace car.  LOL
