  1. well if your not a big gamer you can get a 8800gs or 9600gso,  about ten percent less then a 8800gt  and really good and cheap,        but if you go with a 9800gtx get the + version as it is a tad better then the 4850     which ever one is cheapest by you

  2. Sticking with Ati you definatly want the Ati 4850 or 4870

both come with a whopping 800 stream processors and a terraflop of power.

you will have no difficulty in running ANY game on ultra settings.

the 4850 can kill an Nvidia 9800GTX in just about all benchmarks.

make sure ure psu has 26 amps or more on the +!2v rail and for the 4870 28amps

  3. It depends on what bus your computer has i.e. pci express, AGP?

And what your wallet will afford.

If you have a pcie 16x bus.

The ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 is the best card on the planet.

    But costs between $500-$600

    d;o)

  4. you have a choice between ati or nvidia I prefer nvidia get a decent card doesnt have to be high end but I recommend 9600gt 512mb DDR3 or similar

make sure your pc can handle the required wattage.  check your power supply for details on how much watt yours currently runs at.

this is very important when upgrading to a new graphics card.

take a look at some of the cards I looked up for ya.

hope this helps you out.  If you still have questions email me.  I will try to find you the right card with your specs and all. ;)
