Your question sounds like you're taking unprescribed Clomid. This is NOT the way to do it. Get your doctor's advice first. If you already happen to have high ovulation rates and then you add Clomid to the mix, you run the risk of OHSS which can lead to infertility and in rare cases is fatal. You need to find out whether this is the right medication for you before you embark on any pills.

But if you've already got the pills and decide to take them (you're going to get answers from other people saying 'yeah I was fine, etc.') then you should know that taking 5 pills starting on CD5-9 is the place where most people begin their 50mg prescription. So that would be the safest way to begin Clomid. Having said that, if there's a risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome .... why take that chance?
