OK so i am thinking about going to Yale since i am?

in 12th grade and we are really talking about college but my parents want me to go to Harvard because it is closer, what the **** don't they want me to be happy

Harvard is known for it's major grade inflation and lack of faculty-student communication..

Personally, i think Yale is much better academically..

Simply tell them that you prefer Yale's program and ask them why you have to be close to home when you should have the responibilty and independence to take care of yourself esp at this age. It's your education not theirs, you should be the one to choose which college you wanna go to.live up to your expectations not theirs..either way they're both ivy leagues! Besides, Connecticut is right next to Massachusetts..big deal..
