OK so i finally got a footlong philly cheese steak from subway and I was charged only $5.43 for it?

is this a mistake? I know the $5 footlong deals is only for the regluar footlongs and I was prepared to pay the $8.79 plus tax for the philly but when i was paying for it the guy only charged me $5.43.....did i get away with paying 9 bucks or what?

i know the feast, philly, and pastrami are all 8.79 plus tax for their footlongs.

SOme stores are offereing the special on more sandwiches. Could be a possibility.  Enjoy....

I had this happen yesterday too, ordered a footlong that wasn't on the new list of 8 and they only charged me $5

I have a friend who recently got a second job at Subway. He said everything is $5, as long as it's not double-meat or double-cheese.

At our local Subway, I was told any sandwich with double meat would be normal price, even their prime rib sandwich is only $5.  They like others are trying to get the economy going.
