OK so this is really important about my computer...?

Question

ok so my speakers aren't being recognized by the computer

Which is weird b/c just a few hours ago it was working and nobody touched the computer...

Ok so i looked in the back to see if it was disconnected...it was fine...

but i plugged it out and back in just to make sure... it still didn't work

Then i went to control panel then went to sound devices and then itsaid there were NO SPEAKERS CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER...!

So i don't know what to do i need help i don't know what's wrong with my speakers b/c its not the website cuz i went to different websites to be sure.... PLEASE HELP ME IM DESPERATE!!!!!!!

Hi Julian;  These two steps are going to sound silly but, if you have Windows Operating System, look at the lower right of the screen at the Task Bar.  You should see a small icon that looks like a speaker, if its there, click on it once and a volume control will open.  Make sure the volumes up.  If there is no icon that looks like a speaker, then your drivers are missing,

Next, if there is a small green light on your speakers, make sure they are lit, if not, then there off or not receiving power.  Also, check the speakers for a volume control.  Someone may have turned them down to mess with you.

If the above doesn't seem to be the problem, then it either bad speakers or a missing driver.  To fix the driver, go to you PC manufacturers web sit (like www.hp.cpm if you have a hewlit packard),

and navigate to the downloads section.  They will have the driver you need to download and install.  Be ready to enter your computers model number.  What you will be looking for are called Audio Drivers, or Sound Drivers.  Good Luck...Cheers!

it actually didnt say no speakers connected (it wont say this) its telling you that theres no sound card installed, you need the drivers for it.
