  1. You've got several good answers so far. There's just one more point - if the musical combo is playing at the caffe where you are while you're sitting in Piazza San Marco, you will also pay an additional amount for that. The going rate for gondola rides is 80 euro during the day for about 40 minutes, but you may be asked for more. The rate is higher in the evening.

  2. i heard its 200 euro.

  3. You have 3 prices the first price is just standing at the coffee bar inside, the 2nd price is based on sitting down at a table inside and the third price is for sitting outside the cheapest is standing, the next cheapest is sitting inside and the most expensive is sitting outside. Coffee ranges in price but be prepared to pay up to 10 euros a cup if you sit outside, but it really depends where you are you can get cheaper coffee  at about 3 euros if you look around,  ~The gondola trips are really expensive just as good to take a water taxi and much cheaper  Have a nice time.

  4. Florentina is right.  It depends on if you're at the San Marco square (down town Venice), or at another bar (coffee shop/caffé) somewhere else in Venice.

There's a €6 to €10 cover charge for sitting in the San Marco seats outside (with all the pigeons). The coffee (espresso) is generally around €2 at the San Marco outdoor lounging area.

Anywhere else in Italy, a coffee (espresso) is € .70  to € 1.20  depending on the town.

And yes, they like to charge you a few more cents in the bars (coffee shops/caffé) if you take a seat- a few cents more if that seat is outside.

And YES, the gondolas can go up to €200!! They're not cheap, especially of you're an American (or just not fluent in Italian).  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚‚¬60 is a steal! take it if you can!

  5. at the trattoria siting 325- standing 215

  6. A buck two eighty........or there abouts.

  7. If you sit at a table , the price is more. If you order the coffee and drink it at the bar , like all the locals , it is much cheaper. Believe me.

I go to Italy often and I always drink coffee at the bar.
