But since when does the VP run the show? Biden will be below Obama (no experience) and Palin will be under McCain (experience). I'd rather have my prez experienced. She'll be working under him, Obama will be working above Biden. This is a d**n joke!! Why can't you people realize this?

  1. Experience has nothing do with it. As a president can you  fill the needs of your citizen. I don;t care about foreign policy, I want to know what can you do for the citizen of America, can you help those who have no health care,  help pay for schools, get us out of America.

Beside why is tis a joke of biden working above Obama. What about your great fair leader, that idiot Bush. Cheney is running the country and bush not even his lap dog worthy.  Bush had ran his oil company to bankruptcy, and you ppl voted for him as a president, who screwed the entire country. GOOD JOB!

  2. Picking Palin locked in the evangelical vote for McCain, now all he has to do is walk another hundred miles away from Bush, this is what people want, for Bush to go away forever and ever and ever, so this is what both are doing, getting away from Bush while locking in  the conservative vote..

  3. Bad thing about Biden is that he has a son who is a lobbyist for the banking industry and Biden was one of only 4 DemoRats who voted for the bankruptcy reform package. Wonder why he did that?

Then Obambi talks about stopping lobbyists in his speech last night. Good Stuff.

  4. yea, that's why you should vote for McCain

  5. First of all, McCain does not have the experience WE NEED. He likes to point to his military background but has been consistantly wrong on the most important military and foreign policy issues of our time. He has spent a long time in the Senate that is liked nor appreciated by noone, who promises big things, yet has not gotten a single thing done in all the time he's sat in his comfortable seat. What can you point to that his experience will shine through as president? As for Obama, Biden no doubt has more experience, but that doesn't mean he exists in a vacuum. He and Obama are close, and Obama is a thoughtful person who takes all opinions into account rather than being bull-headed and stubborn. He will listen to those who have more experience than he on certain issue, unlike McCain who believes he has the right answer to everything. Biden will be a great asset to Obama's team and will be a great person to have sitting at that table of those who help form the decisions.

  6. yes i agree, but in the event that mccain dies(Sorry),the country will be ran by the woman who is a lifelong member of the nra, dangerously conservative(like bordering on hitler conservative) and has no experience at all.

  7. come on now hunney, mccain is 72 years old,has had the worst case of skin cancer god know how many times, this man could crook in the next 4 years, and i said COULD.mccain's VP(and also Obama's)are very VERY important this election.

  8. OBAMA 08!

  9. Well, we can agree that Biden has more foreign policy experience, but I'm not sure what that means since he voted against the first Gulf war and for the 2nd Gulf war.

    Foreign policy experience: yes

    Good judgment: questionable

I do agree that I too would rather have a president who has experience. And I can agree that it is comical that the democratic nominee for president has less experience than his chosen VP. It's a little upside down, wouldn't you say?

Edit: We can certainly agree that there has never been a candidate for president of the United States with so few qualifications. Obama does qualify for being the least qualified candidate for president ever nominated!

  10. Biden's only experience is in corruption

  11. my initials are P.E.A.C.E

u are a warmonger just like your candidate.

    OBAMA/BIDEN/HILLARY08

  12. If you listened to his speech you would clearly see and hear this hard working American cares about so much more then McCain.

McCain thinks anything under $5 Million is middle class -

has 7 homes and is 70 something years old-

Obama is experienced in helping America - and will stand up to fight - he's clearly well educated, well spoken and a hard working person.

As he said this election isn't about him or McCain it's about you.

    America -

If you liked the past 8 years and feel your country is fine -

Iraq's 87 million surplus in oil is great but we're paying to rebuild their nation while ours suffers vote for McCain.

If you want change and things better vote for Obama.

  13. If you were looking for someone anyone with less experience than Obama, Palin is it.

McCain just shot the plane out from under himself.

  14. B.O. has had about 140 working days in the US Senate...only 140 days!

Palin has been a mayor and governor!  Thats MUCH more executive experience than B.O.!!!

Its laughable that the B.O. campaign will rush out talking about Palin's "lack of experience".  Wow, are those Obots truely in a kool-aid trance?

Do they understand what they're saying?

    McCain/Palin '08

  15. palin has more integrity & experience than barack

junior senator has only 143 days in office

    hugs!

  16. Because judgment is more important than experience. For those who want to continue with the same stuff that the Bush administration has been shoveling for another 4 years, then vote for McCain.  But for those who seek a change in direction, an administration who cares about the people instead throwing billions at the corporations, then vote Obama.  The choice is clear, we can't afford another 4 years of Republicans ruining the economy and killing our children.

  17. This election should be about

    Obama/Biden vs McCain/Palin

Looking at both track records...we should ask ourselves..who has done the bipartisan and take on the corruption or bring the change to 'Washington?  Who has the son who actually works as lobbyist?

Seriously, GOP outmauneuvered DNC this time.  I can't be more pleased with McCain's selection.  He's a maverick, after all.

The 3 AM call should go to McCain, not Palin.  if everyone expect McCain to drop dead...well just the fact someone is old doesn't mean he has less life expectancy than the youngster.

I love thie election and it's truly exciting now.

  18. Uh, the whole point of the VP is in case the P dies, the VP takes over.

The P can really appoint anyone to be under he wants. For example, Clinton appointed Lewinsky to go under him. McCain could appoint Sarah Palin to go under him, without her happening to be VP.

Selecting her as VP is an act of irresponsibility, give McCain's age and frail health (3 cancers, 200 pages of health records etc...)

  19. This is in America dear..They will work together...No above no below like some dictator country..They wii share experience...
