IT STILL GETS GREASY WITHIN AN HOUR!!!! it's so annoying! I use neautrogena pressed powder stuff and the clinique concealer stick which helps dry up zits but my skin gets SUPER oily and it looks like I'm sweating THROUGH my makeup at school and stuff. Should i put a primer on before powder, but i don't know what kind to use! HELP! Also what would be a good skin care anti acne routine? Right now i'm using acneFree which is sort of helping but it leaves my skin pretty dry. I have all these little white pimples on my forehead too and i don't know if they're white heads or what because i can't get rid of them!!! PLZ HELP ME!!!! I'm starting a new school on wednesday and i really want to make a good impression! Would a facial help? Like a professional facial? My mom can't help me either because she never had acne! HELP i don't want to go to school with a greasy forehead!

  1. ok well you arent using the right face wash if it leaves you dry. it should leave you refreshed, clean, and soft. i personally think the clinique 3 step system works great for oily skin. you should go to the clinique counter and have the person working there help you find the right cleanser, toner, and moisturizer(they have gel ones and ones just for you!)

for now though, try a toner. they zap oil. and buy some blotting pads. clean and clear makes them. they are little paper based pads that you can use to blot all over your face and soak up oil. you can put them in your backpack and between classes blot your face!

btw, i heard about the neutrogina wave. they said it was great but i never tried it myself because i have sensitive skin.

  2. A facial sounds like a good idea. Especially before starting your new school. You might also be able to ask for some professional advice.

Cleanse twice daily and eat well. Drink lots of water. After cleansing, use some toner (it does wonders for oily skin) and apply moisturizer right away. The moisturizer acts like a shield, protecting your face from grease and dirt. The longer you wait between cleansing and applying moisturizer, the more bacteria there will be between your face and the layer of moisturizer. Also, make sure your moisturizer doesn't clog pores.

A concealing stick is okay, but try to use minimal makeup. Things like foundation etc. is like bacteria heaven. It will only worsen the condition of your skin. Remember to wash off all your makeup before sleeping.

Also, exfoliate and use a clay mask once a week. It seems like a LOAD of work, but it really does pay off.

  3. theres nothing to really make it less oily, i have really oily skin and i haven't found anything yet. you should definitely use a moisturizer though, because if your face thinks it doesn't have enough moisture it actually releases more oil haha, it sucks. but try aveeno products they dont' clog your pores
