Which of the two would look best on the bed?

The first one. The colors will bring out the natural luster of the wood. Nice set up!

Love duvets kind of a pain though once you get to a King of a Cali king.

Well I think it depends on the look you are going for. The bed is pretty intense (large and dark). The first duvet is also very ornate and luxious, while the second is more calming and serene. So choose according to what you want it to look like.

As a side note, I prefer the second one.

I'd say the first one. I love the bed by the way its absolutely amazing - very jealous! I'd stick to warm rich colours to compliment the dark wood and oriental styling of the bed.

The first one, definitely. The second one, although pretty, looks a little too cottagey to go with the sleek lines of the bed.

i totally would go with the second one. i love the blue! its so pretty! i would pick the blue! but thats just my opinion

Wow, That is a tough one I think either of the two would look really nice on that bed. I think it would depend on the surroundings in the room. If you have a dark room, keep it dark and go with the Ermitage. Which will also compliment the dark stain of wood on the bed. If you want the room to be brighter than try to brighten it up with some light shaded window coverings. However, if there are white walls in the room, or by chance blue (of any color); go with the other light blue Duvet.

With this dark wood and type of bed style, I have to say # 1. The dark wood needs the Rich material.

the second one is for a lighter wood or white bed without the framework on top (canopy)

Both very cute, but I will go with the first one!
