Or, any curb-side pick up for that matter. Do you tip the guy at the counter who hands you your food?
My girlfriend and me went to Chili's tonight to pick up dinner. The guy at the counter was like "uhhh...here it is." And without looking in the bag, just kind of "shook" it to verify it's contents.
It was really awkward, and I almost didn't know if he was joking or not...so we just kind of paid and left. In the car my girlfriend pointed out their was a space to "leave a tip" that I hadn't even seen/ knew existed.
Is it wrong that I didn't leave a tip?
Ask anyone, and you'd know at restaurants I ALWAYS leave good tips for good waiters. Way above the average tip for good service. But this guy just kind of has the most cake job ever, is he really supposed to be tipped?!?
