Okay so i want to sell my iphone then get a 3g iphone.

I was wondering if i need to talk to an AT&T person before i sell my phone.

how do i go about doing this?

Take it to the att store and then ask them about the hand me down policy and they will give you a new sim card in the phone then you can sell it good luck

No you dont need to talk to an ATT person just to sell your old cell phone but you will need someone at the ATT store to do the actavateing of the 3g. They have purposely done this so anyone who buys a phone from Ebay or someone else has to come into the store and pay $30.00 for them to do the activateing for you.
