I have a set of dominoes and I've been trying to introduce my 5 yr old. The basic set says to play your 5 tiles until no one can play anymore and then the winner gets the points that are left in the opponent's hand. Fine. When I was growing up we played that you got a point for every 5 points the ends added up to...on a cribbage type board, and then 5 points for what was left, rounded up or down to the nearest 5. So I was trying to incorporate that game into the set that we have and I realized that almost half the tiles are duplicates. Is a standard set only 27 tiles or are you supposed to play with all sorts of duplicate tiles?Anyone know? Thanks.
