Do you think they are underage? DO you think that the US got "abnormally" low scores when they should have gotten higher?

  1. those poor little girls i know they are younger then what they say they are. it's just so sad that they are teaching them to lie.

  2. "abnormally" low scores??

Did you even watch the all around?  US especially Alica choked in the last 2 rounds.  The entire American team stepped out of bounds during floor exercise.  I can understand some you think thinking the chinese girls were underage, because you are not in touch with their culture/people.  But to think scoring is rigged is absurd, the only routine in question is liukin verse He where liukin got beat by a pre-programmed tie breaker.  And on Vault where the chinese gynmnast got bronze, her second attempt have the highest difficulty out of the competition, it's a move ONLY she can do.  she failed and got the bronze, but if she stuck it she would have won gold for sure.

  3. yes they are underage. the us should have gotten better scores. if the olympics were some where else it wouldve been fair.

  4. Yeah there is no way you can tell me or any other normal person in this world that those girls are 16.  The US got screwed in those competitions if you ask me.

  5. No and no. If you can't follow/understand the rules of tie-breaks and difficulty levels; why are you sodding off of the rule of age? Double standard.

Comparing Female Japanese and Chinese Gymnast:

JPN: Avg height: 4'10'' Avg weight: 82 pounds Avg age: 19

CHN: Avg height: 4'8'' Avg weight: 77 pounds Avg age: ~16.8=17

USA: Avg height: 5'0'' Avg weight: 106.5 pounds Avg age: ~18.2=18

See how US compares to Asians.

    They look 16 to me.

    As for the ignorant [[CRocket]]

    Sacramone:

    Vault 1: A: 6.30 B: 9.450 - Total: 15.750

    Vault 2: A: 5.80 B: 9.525 - Total: 15.325

    Final score : 15.537

    Cheng Fei:

    Vault 1: A: 6.50 B: 9.575 - Total: 16.075

    Vault 2: A: 6.50 B: 8.550 - Total: 15.050

    Final Score: 15.567

A is for the difficulty, B is for the execution.

Chung Fei DID get deducted because of her landing, as you can see.

Cheng Fei's routine was much more difficult than Alicia's(She had a .9 higher value I believe?) , so she had much more starting points to begin with. Plus, Sacramone didn't do a great routine ethier, she didn't fall but she didn't stick the landing properly. Chung Fei's first vault alo earned the highest score of all the women with a 16.075.With such low difficulty ratings for Alicia Sacramone( 6.3 and 5.8) she would of had to make vaults, which were not particularly difficult, perfect(which she wasn't) in order to earn her the Bronze Medal.

Poor loser and I'm pretty sure the media is too polluted for him to actually learn some gymnastic rules rather than sounding like a pathetic t**t.

  6. Yes to both questions

  7. im not surprised, - i mean after the opening ceremony c**p surely we should have started to expect something more from these chinese right?  sorry, i didnt watch the US girls so i can't shed an opinion on their scores.

  8. Yes, and yes.

  9. No, the only people complaining about this are Americans!

    The Chinese were far superior!!

    Get over it!!

  10. Yes, they're definitely underage and yes the U.S. got "abnormally" low scores not to mention China got "abnormally" high scores. A girl lands on her knees on the vault and gets bronze??? Give me a break.

  11. I agree that some scoring was askew in more than one sport.

  12. My friend, in my opinion, yes to both the underage issue and the "abnormally" low scores. Our American girls gymnasts got robbed in both the team and individual final.

    Good luck

  13. I think US got abnormally low scores.  But on the underage issue i will go with my newfound hero, Shawn Johnson, that i won't question the age of them for a minute.  But if they are underage then I hope (in a very un-Shawnly way) they are stripped of their medals an given to Shawn an the rest of them cuz they deserved.  its too bad about alicia sacramone though, cuz she does better then that

  14. No. I don't think they are underage at all. I did a comparison between the Chinese girls that competed in the artistic and rhytamic routines  and also against the rhytamic gymnasts with the other countries and one conclusion can be made.

One conclusion can be made. Asian girls are not as physically deveoped as their counterparts from the Western countries.

This can be due to a number of reasons. Genes, diet, training regime and many more. We should not compare apples growing on Asian soil to apples that are growing on say American soil. I doubt they use fertilizers in China.

  15. Lets move on from this, your just giving the American haters something to cry about.

  16. I think they are probably underage but who knows how this could be resolved. The Chinese govt will just make up whatever documents they need to support their case.

As to the judging - subjectively judged sports are always filled with that. No way to get around it.

  17. It's over and done with, can I imagine one of them driving a car in the US, h**l no, they look like little girls. Oh well, those little girls got gold medals.

    Time to move on.
