OMFG im so frigging desperate plz help me!?

Question

My glasses broke can they be fixed??? T-T?

they broke from the s***w like i can push back in the s***w but I can pop it back out just as easily (its not really a s***w but i call it that it like this little rectangular pole thing)

For a while I have put black tape on the top of the frame where the the two parts separate on the frame but now the s***w has bent slightly and won't go back into the slot

Is there a way to fix it completely with out tape or glue or anything and if I am unable to do it myself could you direct me to a place that would do it (since Lenscrafters won't so) i live in Brooklyn area code 11203 so thnx so anyplace near there would be good

Probably nothing you can do except make it worse.

Just go to any optical store...we do repairs like that all day long.

Sounds like you need a new temple

Your optical you bought the glasses from should be able to order the parts in for you.  If you have warranty than thats even better.  

Your also probably even better off going to a small business optical with better personable service than a big place w/ strict rules like lenscrafters.

If that doesn't help then bandades are gonna be your friend until your next exam (yes bandades, they stick better and you can cut them down to the right size).

You have a few options here and I hope at least one of them will work for you.  I do not live in your area, but I know many eyeglass sellers will repair eyeglasses for a small fee or they may even do it for free.  Call around your area and ask.

If you have a copy of the prescription and it is valid, then you should consider ordering a new pair online.  There are many internet retailers that are not very expensive.  Here are links to a few of them.
