OMG, Spider!!!?

Question

Okay, I was riding 4wheelers in the woods and I saw this creepy spider. It had bright red legs that looked like crab legs and a white butt the size of a quarter and it had little black spots on its butt. The spider altogether was the size of half a pencil. What kind of spider is this and is it poisonous???

I do not exactly know what species this spider is, but I can tell that it is definitely poisonous. Bright colors warn of toxic materials.

That sounds like the dreaded Red-Legged-White-Butt-Spotted Wood Spider. Keep Away!
