OMG! Did EliteXC kill MMA?

Besides the women's fight, all the fights were disappointments. First two fights were horrible. The Middleweight fight was stopped, and the Kimbo fight was a huge disappointment. What the heck?!!! What was EliteXC thinking?!

They should have had the women fight as the headliner. I mean all they have done for the past 2 months is hype this thing up and that's the best you can do!?!?!? I mean Kimbo really does suck. And when he fights somebody who knows how to keep their hands up he is in real trouble. And if that were Fedor or Coture on the ground with him tonight he would have been taken out on a stretcher. I just wasted 3 hours of my life.

Yes, yes they did. The worst part was that the entire card was boring with the exception of the Smith fight that got called early.  Gary Shaw must be having a heart attack right now after such a poor showing on network TV and Dana White is laughing it up. Even the IFL has put on better shows. Thompson, Young, Smith....all bad stoppages. The only good part was the slap Colussus put on that idiot ref. Elite XC gambled big and lost and they can partially blame the NJSAC for being such complete tools.

I dont know if it was the fireworks or the unbalanced fights. The whole show just left me with a sickening feeling, Im gonna go rent some UFC/PRIDE videos to remind me what MMA is.

Elite XC give all people a chance to see MMA, unlike other organizations that only cater to the rich pay per view customers.

Not if we kill Elite XC first.  No fan of MMA should purchase their ppv's.  They are going to ride the no talent Kimbo Slice and make a mockery of the sport of MMA. This is not acceptable, not only that but it was also pretty evident we are never going to get anything square with them on the undercard either.  Send this company into bankruptcy before they ruin all that MMA has worked for over the past 10 years.

I thought the Kimbo fight was awesome. I do think The fight where the guy got poked in the eye was a sucky call. Especially when the guy who got poked wanted it to continue. And the womans fight was just great as it gets. I liked all the fights. Just needed to see the one go all the way. So the guy got poked in the eye. Let it continue, if the opponents are wanting it.

All I could think while watching was "Is this WWE"? Baroni's "entrance". The whole show, what a joke. I understand a little bit of the calls, but definitely not the eye poke. Also, am I the only one who thought the Kimbo fight was obviously fixed or at least tilted??? Fight could've easily been stopped in the second had Thompson really wanted it to, and prematurely stopped over the ear?? It was WAYYY too obvious Kimbo is their bread and butter and they were protecting him. I like Kimbo, but not EliteXC.
