I thought he would kick *** because it's his last chance to get a olympic medal. I thought all year long he would come back and kick *** again, but after this, I'm starting to seriously doubt

  1. Blake played good and believed he could take down Roger....

  2. blake won cos he had C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-C-E!

Roger has got to pick his mental game up... if he wants to at least salvage this season with a win at the US Open, and not go the way of the great borg...he has deal with not being on top, so he can get back on it!

  3. This just proves that Federer has completely lost his skill. He just can't play tennis anymore against the greatest players. I knew he couldn't do it, but I didn't expect Blake to cause the upset!

  4. I watched and Federer came out flat never raised his game in anyway.  It's true if you believe in yourself you will prevail.  Federer doesnt believe in himself anymore and Blake totally believed he could beat him.  I watched the match, Federer actually sceamed a couple of times, was making defeatist gestures, and Blake payed attention.  He new he was getting in Federer's head.

I feel bad for Rog, I sure hope he comes back......BUT my fav Rafa could have worn roller skates today taking out his opponent in 1:08.

    Vamos Rafa!

  5. Federer is losing his skill and talent. Blake is also a very solid player with a tremendous amount of talent who happens to have poor resuts in major tournaments. Blake was amazing in this match and deserved it! I believe Roger's reign is over.

  6. It happend in straight sets.

  7. Federer just wasn't there today and Blake played very well and believed he could beat Roger and so he did. Federer is having a bad year and though I will root for him at the US Open, I honestly don't know what to expect from Rogie anymore. He could virtually end up slamless this year, but I think it might be all the motivation he needs to come back in 2009 and give us a year of tennis we won't forget. But today Roger had a bad day, he wasn't all the way there, Blake was on target and he had the confidence and that's why he won. I'm really happy for Blake, I hope he goes on to win a medal, that would be so awesome!

  8. im not watching the olympics right now, but ARE YOU SERIOUS????? i thought fed would do amazingggggg ... esp. after losing to nadal, i thought hed hire a coach, and work really, reallllllly hard! idk... i guess either blake played really good, or fed play really bad lol

  9. it was defintely a suprise, but everyone on tour thinks they can beat fed now.

  10. federer did have motivation to play , he was playing for the sake of playing

  11. blake played well.. Federer had too many unforced errors and was not confident. 2008 has not been a good year for Roger

  12. I think Federer needs to believe in him self i don't know that will happen probably tho. I think the best thing for Roger is to take s break and concentrate on improving because i think after he got a size able lead from Nadal he stopped practising as hard. Never the less he lost and him and both his fans (including me) have to get other it.

  13. Fed's been playing like (censored) all year. So he lost. GET OVER IT
