  1. did you see anything crawl into your body?

  2. thers no way u can catch it atall

  3. You can't catch it from your hamster. Just clean the cage often, you don't have to worry about your hamster passing on the infection. You can brush her with a clean toothbrush to give her sore skin some massage and temporary relief.

  4. don't pick him up until you get him checked, or wear some kind of gloves, the rubber kind, if have any. if you can't touch him, just talk to him alittle so he doesn't get so lonely. also, after you see the vet make sure you throw out all his beading in his cage, wash the cage and everyything in it.

  5. I have two rats, and my boyfriend got ringworm from one of them. If you already played with her then go take a shower, and use lots of sanitizer or anti-bacterial soap. or wipe anti-fungal cream on your hands and any skin she's touched.

If you aren't careful your hamster could die.

So you might want to get her checked out.

  6. Relax, ringworm in hamsters is caused by a fungus that does not infect humans. So there is NO chance of you getting the infection from a hamster unless you are highly susceptible to the infection. Hence as a basic hygiene, always wash your hands before and after you handle your hamster. You need not stop handling your hamster becoz of this. However since you mentioned in the previous question that you are getting an allergy from the hamster, better to wear gloves when handling her so that you can prevent the allergy to yourself. You can read up more information on ringworm from the following link -

  7. Ringworm, had that experience six months ago. A friend of mine works at a pet store and caught it and I said do not come over to my place for six weeks. Well, she came over after six weeks and still had ringworm without telling me. She handled my rats and cats and they all caught it and then I caught it.

Rodents are normally immuned to ringworm and if they do get it they will fight it off on their own, many vets have told me so. They did fight it off and three weeks later they were clear.

My cats needed shampoo treatment for two weeks and they were clear.

I also had one small patch on my neck and some anti-fungal cream called mupirocin cleared me up in a week. Sometimes the patch will stay around later, but the fungus spores are dead. You need to get a precription for this cream though.

  8. Just chill if ur pet is used to u holding it it will feel rejected if you suddenly stop!!!

so go on and play wit him

its probably nothing that the good old vet cant fix!!!
