OMG How can I record my video from my camcorder?

I have a Sony DCR-HC21 which is able to connect to my computer through USB. I need a software where I can upload the video so I can put it on the web.

import it to windows movie maker or the mac video and export it as an avi or MPEG and you can upload it to google video youtube or burn it to a disc

The DCR-HC21 is a MiniDV camcorder - you'll need to capture the video via firewire rather than USB  If your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card. They're cheap, easy to install and readily available. You'll also need a firewire cable.

I suggest getting "Sony Vegas" it has the most easiest way to transfer your video from your camcorder into the studio. try it out! the program will tell you how to do it. plus it has some advanced editing features used by pros. Or u can use windows movie maker?
