I went to school and these real mean, bratty, popular girls just complimented my hair. I just got a haircut and I am a average girl who is very shy. I can't believe they even knew who I am! Am I becoming popular?!

What is so special about being popular?  They just liked your hair, thats all.  Don't get too excited over the whole popularity thing.  Be yourself.

Nothing wrong with being popular and if it comes naturally you can't realy stop it.

   Just be popular for who "you" are an individual who thinks for themselves and doesn't let it go to her head, don't be part of a clique, that excludes others. Be kind to all.

    But in the mean time, be very weary of "the popular girls", because if their thinking of letting you "in", it means they already see you as competition.

     If your not willing to join their "high and mighty" group, you will be a target for rejecting them.

     Their type are real hotshots in high school, but always come apart in college and real life, when they find out their nobody special.
