OMG I hate my name SOOOO MUCH?

Question

I have hated my name for so long now and I just want to change it! I think it's a ridiculous name! My name is Hunter Christian (surname) I think it's a bad name. I have gotten teased about it so much! I told my parents I want to change the first name to Alexander. I like that name. I am okay with my middle name. What do you think?

its not that bad....my uncles name was Archibald and he hated it and went to court to change it to Arch..

if you hate it, change it. it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

You don't have to officially legally change it by the way, you can just start using your new name and that is legally acceptable.

I'm not a Women, but if I was, I'd like Hunter Christian.  Its actually a very cool name.  Stick with it.  Its different.  I think some times we'd rather be a Bill, John, Jim, Steve, Mark -- too original.

omg hunter is such a hot name!!!!! its so unique and individual. alexander is (no offence to anyone) quite common and generic...

also a lot of ppl get called by their middle names so get ur friends and stuff to call u christian, not hunter. and i also think christian is a really nice name for a guy! i think ur pretty lucky to be honest. but what i say doesnt really matter...if ur really upset by ur name, change it, but i think u should stick to ur unique and nice name :)

If you're okay with your middle name, then just tell people to call you by it. You can remove the first name officially if you like.

well names are fun and i like hunter!!! its nice and mascaline...for instance my name is latavia...it means newly born...and i happen to look 14 instead of 21 and i make convo about it when i flirt...i tell guys it was apparently a curse on me because i look "newly born" ...lol surprisingly it works also your name is special because thats what you were giving by your mother at birth...but i think you should keep hunter..but alexander is cute too

I like Alexander, it's a great name.

You could also think about calling yourself Chris, as that is a short form of your middle name.
