Apply gentian violet , it is very good treatment for your cold sores (herpes)

DON'T TOUCH IT!  Ha ha this exact same thing happened to me.  Your best bet is to leave it alone so it doesn't spread or get any bigger.  And get yourself Abreva, it's available at most pharmacies, Wal- Mart, Target, etc.  You can put it on up to 5 times a day, (but who's counting.)  And it should cut your healing time in half.  Good Luck!  It also says in the Abreva pamphlet that you can put a light coat of make up on over the Abreva... Just don't go crazy with the make up because it honestly makes it look worse.
