OMG I look anerexic!!!

I am having MAJOR wardrobe malfunction. I was sick with salmonella poisoning (in the hospital for 3 days). The problem is I have lost 30 lbs. I am only 5'1 and weighed 100 lbs so now I look anorexic. None of my new clothes fit. (my mom said she will let me get 1 outfit altered for the first day) How can I gain like 20 lbs in 1 week. I am already taking those bars to make you gain. But it sucks all my work to gain muscle and tone my body is gone, I am as weak as a kitten now. Please Help!!!!!!

  1. Speak to your doctor, eating cr*p will just cause your already weakened system to eradicate it (i.e you may puke or have the runs).

    Little by the little is the way to go for weight change, either up or down.

    You have barely a week.

    Have protein bars, drink milk, bread,meat, and all that.

    pizza, sushi, mcdonalds, fried chicken!

    omg u are 5'1 and 70 lbs? :(

  3. eat lots of protien and veggies. take vitamins. eat tons of pasta, and bread. just basically, EAT. have a small breakfast and make meals get bigger thru the day. because big breakfasts kick start the metabolizm. dont eat fast or fried food tho. it doesnt matter how skinny you are it is still c**p for your body

  4. EDIT: That's good then. Wish you the best. Be sure to gain "healthy weight" tho. Maybe talk to your mom and she can help you know what to eat and drink. Personally if I were you I'd drink something along the lines of a Slim Fast, Boost, etc WITH my meal...because those liquid drinks are supposed to be the meal themselves and are full of vitamins and stuff...So yeah, eat healthy proteins, veggies, and throw some carbs in there, and maybe drink a Boost or Slim Fast with the meal or use it as a snack. Also eat 4-5 times per day. And drink plenty! You're dehydrated! Best of Luck to you!

    Eat/drink these things:

    ~Milk

    ~Lot's of water

    ~Cheese

    ~Salads

    ~Granola Bars

    ~Jello lol

    ~Yogurt

    And just eat really healthy, don't try to stuff yourself with fat stuff, because then you will get fat instead of actually growing.  Eat a really big breakfast, and then lunch and dinner.  Keep exercising, run in the morning, take up sports in school, and do everything you can so that you can move around lol.  Good luck, and don't listen to those stupid and probably jealous people if they make fun of you!

  6. You're not going to be able to gain back the weight by the time school starts. My advice to you would be to maybe go shopping for some new clothes. There are a lot of summer clearance sales right now and you can get some cheap clothes that will fit you. Don't get too many, because you won't be wearing these clothes for long.

    Then eat. Don't stuff yourself, just eat healthy, rich food whenever you're hungry, and do what your doctors say. Drink loads of water and milk, and eat fresh fruits and veggies and plenty of high protien, high calcium foods.

    The weight will gain back, and soon you'll be able to fit back in your old clothes. There will be an awkward stage when you outgrow your new clothes but your old clothes are loose on you. That's okay .The first few months, until you gain back the weight, will suck. This isn't gonna be the easiest time in your life, and you won't be able to start the school year the way you hoped. Get used to that fact and find ways you can have fun anyways. But by December you'll hopefully weigh as much as you did before.

  7. A lot of your weight loss is most likely from dehydration, you'll probably gain it back quicker than you think you will.  You don't want to spend a ton of money on new clothes if they'll end up too small in a few weeks.
