That should teach Novak to shut up before the tournament, instead of talking $h!t about Federer.

  1. GO NOLE!!!

    YOU ARE NEXT #1

  2. I could care less I'm not happy or displeased about his loss. He lost to a great player in Marat Safin and that's it. Hopefully we see some great matches down the stretch though.  Roddick/Nadal, Federer/Safin semi finals anyone?

Federer is playing great as always against Soderling right now on a side note. 6-3, 2-0 in the second set as I type this.

  3. Safin should have been one of the greatest players in the game but he spent his entire career complaining and fuming about other things that were important.  He is very underrated and I think even Djokovic went into the game thinking that it was going to be a walk over but he forgot that Safin beat him a few years before.  Safin should be one of the greats like Federer and Nadal right now.  He just gave up too soon.  I am hoping he takes this as a redemption and move up more.

  4. My man Safin!!! YAY!

i had so much hope for him in 2003, 2004...

i hope he find his old form and give Federer a good run for his money!

  5. ROFLMAO

I said it before. He is way over rated. So is Ivanovic. Their time at the top is over. Hello.

Fed over Rafa in 4 sets in the Final.

Ok Vamos Rafa 5 sets just to make you happy.

As long as Safin doesn't do something stupid like loose to Seppi he should have a nice run to the Semi.

  6. That's why they call him Novak "JOKEkovic" not "Jockovic". He is a joke.

  7. Hancock Is better then any tennis match

    owned

  8. i am still sad

  9. Well im happy :)! But i was looking forward to a Novak/Roger semi final ! Anyway Rafa rocks :P!

  10. Same here was also a Novak fan.... GOOD thing it was just a phase.

This loss should somehow shut his mouth. This is the reason why Jankovic is the only Serbian I like.

  11. I was so sad I almost cried! Who cares about Safin? Not ME!!!! I  <3 Novak and wanted him to beat Fed! or even Nadal in the Semi's Goodness I don't know what you see when u watch Novak but its obviously not right!!!

  12. I'm not that happy about it, even though I don't dislike Marat, I didn't want him to win. Djokovic is my favorite player and I hoped he would at least make it to the semis, if not better.

But good luck to Safin! Now I want him to make it to the semis since Nole is out.

  13. I'm a huge Nole fan and I'm devastated that he's gone out this early, but ever I was starting to get irritated with his badmouthing of other players. Hopefully he will take a slice of humble pie away from this match and be back on form for the US Open.

  14. I'm really shocked. What a wake up call at 4am. Obviously I am happy, although I would have prefered Fedto beat him. But yeah, shows Novak hes not ready for the number 2 spot yet.

  15. Who cares.  I just wish Maria's top was more see through.

  16. It was so refreshing to see Safin show even just the smallest bit of his amazing talent which I believe extends well beyond even what we saw today. Now if only he could be consistent and achieve the level of success that his talent warrants - sadly his attitude and motivation have been stumbling blocks all along and most likely will continue.  Perhaps his sister's success is kicking him into action?  : )

On the other hand, Djokovic's arrogance has gotten a bit out of hand lately, although I thought he was quite sportsmanlike in his post-match interview.

  17. Lol @ your post. I am very happy. I love me some Safin and even more since he beat Djokovic. I can't wait to get home to see the match.

  18. i'm sooo happy for marat too!!!

and i think novak has to shut up a little bit more.-

  19. i am so glad that he lost he is a bit to arrogrant he should take a page from rafa book be hungry but be humble

  20. I want Nadal to win wimbledon so it doesn't really bother me one way or another that he's out however Djokovic is one of my favourite players and I am disappointed and surprised at the way he played. I didn't underestimate Safin for a moment, I thought there was a chance he could win anyway but I didn't think that Djokovic would play like that....it's very surprising

  21. Nice one Marat!!

  22. I thought NOvak was your favorite player? jeesh you a nice fan

  23. Wow, that's amazing. I think Novak needed that lost, to make him humbler, more down to earth. He's kinda a little bit arrogant lately. His comments about Roger, or Nadal were irritated. So, I hope he could lear many things from this lost. Congrats to Safin!

  24. I'm very happy for Marat!  He's had a tough time of it lately.
