That should've gotten your attetion! so...i wanna make a homemade hamster cage.

I know you need a:

See through bin (with clapsing handels)

Drill (for ventalation)

Hardware cloth (where do i get that?)

Snips (do shears work too?)

Hot glue Gun (for the hardware cloth)

Duct tape (for extra saftey)

anything else??

Well...the duct tape is a goner..

It would totally try to chew it.

But if you really need it make sure its unreachable to you

hamster..cuz they really like to chew things and it might choke.

Make sure there are some obsticle things like a hole to crawl

through or something like that.

And yes shears will work as well.

Make sure your hamster has a tiny place to crawl into

for sleeping..my hamster loved that :D

You can get hardware cloth @ a hardware store or home supply center like OSH.  It's basically wire mesh that is covered in vinyl & comes in various mesh sizes.
