OMG Tropical Storm Fay hitting Jax??

What are these people going to do??!!! (I have lived in Jacksonville.. and i am not telling if i still do)

All you can do is make preparations. Unless you live in a flood plain or a mobile home (especially one without proper foundations/tiedowns), I wouldn't consider evacuation. Fay is pretty tame as far as storms go - the only one I ever took off about in the 12 years I lived here was Floyd - now THAT was a storm (and kept us guessing about as much as Fay has.)

Those people are going to make all the necessary preparations to stay safe during the hurricane (as it is determined to be when it hits there).

do what we do in south florida prepare and beare it though it...tell them to deal with it we are in the same state arent we!!!!! i thought north and south florida are the same hurricane wise...dont you have shutters and everything? or are you just a bunch of scared little people who dont know what hurricanes are like? sorry you make it sound that way...
