now i have your attention. could you please give me some advice for how i could build an outdoor toilet?

i know it sounds strange, but when im older i would like to live in a shed. a big one of course with solar pannels and wind turbines for electricity. i would like to live the econimically friendly life and eat by growing my own vegetables and collecting eggs from having chickens. but theres a problem. where would i go to the toilet and wash my hands? i live in the south of england and im not sure if the land has planning permission. im not sure it does. how could i build an outdoor toilet with no smell? and how would i be able to wash my hands? please give me some advise!?!?

You would need to set up a rain collection system and storage, both for drinking water and personal hygiene, unless you have water available, if you use a plastic tank set in the sun, you would have warm to hot water for washing your hand.

as far as a toilet, it is as simple as digging a hole, the deeper the better, and a handicapped toilet seat over it.

However there is not a whole lot that you can do about the smell, other than covering it when not in use.
