  1. these prices now a days are nothing compared to how much there are going to be in the future.

  2. prob. nver back down to 2 anymore....remember when it used to be 2 and we got worried when it turned to 3??? good times good times...i miss tht

  3. nope things dont go down sorry

  4. Not anytime soon.  They'll likely go down in the fall, but by down that will likely mean getting to where we are now.  Many are stating the gas prices haven't yet caught up to recent oil spikes and the nat'l average could be at $4.50 within a week or two.  It's very discouraging as it's going to have catastrophic effects on our economy.  People are spending too much on energy and can't afford to spend money that supports other jobs in other industries.  Unemployment will likely continue to rise.

  5. The gas prices are being manipulated by the fuel refining companies and the US Department of Energy.  And it has little to do with the price of a 42.5 gallon (european) barrel of oil.  Currently there are 1,243 products refined from a barrel of oil and the fuel companies make the entire cost of that barrel of oil on other products ( and plenty of profit too) before the first gallon of fuel is sold.  I am sure they can argue about cost factors, labor, and etc.  But basically we are getting hosed at the pumps.

The US DOE controls most of the flow of fuel and has great contol over the supply and demand in this country.  Currently the Chairman of that organization is Dennis Kucinnich, Democrat, and friend of the Pelosi's, Clintons, and the like.

Also, go back and look over the last 36 years at fuel prices.  Democrats have always had contol over D.O.E. and every time there is a major election (presidential) the fuel prices blow through the roof.  Then after the election, prices usually dip dramatically, but they never go back to pre election levels.

We need to vote the democrats out this time, and then vote out the Republicans next time.  I for one am sick of being lied to by both sides.  And you can tell when a politician is lying, because his (or her) lips are moving.

Vive La Revolutione.  (ballots not bullets).

  6. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish

  7. They will eventually come down. The "analysts" are predicting 150.00 to 200.00 dollars per barrel by July 4th.A barrel is equal to 43 gallons of crude. Most of our oil is imported from Mexico and Canada with some coming from the Arabs. Check out the gas stations that sell only gasoline made from USA crude. They will tell you.

  8. I doubt they'll ever go down lower than 3. I heard that by the end of summer most states can be expected to pay $5 a gallon.

  9. Yeah I think we all feel the same way but here is the way I look at it. I took the bus for many years and that sucked. They are slow, people smell, the violence on buses and subways seems to be getting worse. I for one am glad that I don't take the bus anymore and the gas price is a small price to pay to avoid all the c**p that goes with riding transit. Unless you are willing to make the sacrifice of getting back on a bus or buying a Hybrid vehicle or car pooling just pay what it costs. Fares are steadily climbing also and some don't seem to complain about that.
