OMG help!!!!! I got HAIRDYE in my EYE!!!?

Question

ok so i was dying my hair right now and strands of hair went in my eye and they had hair dye in them, my eye started burning/stinging so bad so i rinsed my eye with warm water for almost a minute i did that like 3 times within this half hour..right now it feels fine..but i'm still kinda scared that i'll go blind :[ has this happened to you before?? i'm kinda paranoid right now :/

am i gonna be ok?

you should be ok, just keep rinsing your eye about every 10- 20 minutes until it looks totally normal and you are ok.

LOLZ that happened to me when i was putting these streakes in my hair and after like 2hours i was fine ull be totally ok lolz

If you can, read the warning label on the hair dye. Usually they have directions you can follow in case you get it in your eye. The most common directions are to "flush thoroughly with water".

yeah you'll be fine, you did what they say you should do if it happens. you won't go blind.

You already flushed it with water so if you feel the need, call Poison Control. They can tell you what to do.

lol dont worry, as long as u washed it out really well its fine :D maybe in a little while try washing it out a couple more times just to be safe. good luck!

You did the best thing really. It sounds like you will be fine. If you are still worried call your doctor and ask if there is anything else you can do.
