OMG. how am i gonna get to sleep early?

hi, the first day of school is sept 2. and everynight i go to sleep at like 12:30am and wake up at 10:30am. i need to start going to sleep early so im ready for when i have to go to sleep at 9 30pm or 10:00pm. how should i do this? ive tried going to sleep earlier but i cant go to sleep and its always like that the night before school starts. should i go to sleep at 12:30am and wake up at 7:00am?

  1. take melatonin it's ment to work wonders on getting your sleeping pattern back to normal :) a its natural too,  and isnt addictive.

  3. Drink some hot milk. it may help u sleep better at night.

  4. If going to sleep early isn't working for you, then go to sleep at your regular time and wake up early. You'll be wayyy more tired than usual the next day, but don't take a nap. You'll HAVE to go to sleep early that night. =]

  5. Two things. First, every couple of nights go to bed just 15 minutes earlier than before. You won't notice the difference, but that'll add up to three hours earlier over the next three weeks.

    Second, don't worry about not falling asleep right away. It's totally okay to just lie there in the dark relaxed: your body and brain get plenty of rest either that way or asleep. You could even start a little sleepy-time routine, first tensing and then consciously relaxing muscles all the way up your body. Works for lots of people.
