OMG my dad is forcing me to wear sweatpants to the mall ?!! Help ?!!

Question

So me (13) and my 10 year old sister are going to the mall with my dad to buy school supplies since school starts this Monday.

And my dad came from China and bought me these sweatpants that are gray-ish and a yellow top and he wants me to wear that to the mall today!

It looks soo soo soo silly!! And I got my period so the pants are really uncomfortable. First, I was wearing skinny jeans and another top that he bought me and he made me try these sweatpants and he's like "perfect"

OMG, help, im freaking out..i can't wear this and i dont want to tell him because he gets angry.

And my mom and bro are on trip.

There is nothing worse than to see a female in tight fitting jeans with a pad on. Think about that. Perhaps your dad noticed that and is uncomfortable about telling you and that is why he wants you to wear the sweat pants. Kids today are trying to grow up way to fast. I am sure a lot of young girls would be thrilled to have those sweat pants.

When a girl shows off her figure, yes they DO appeal to boys.The boys do NOT respectthem though.They see them as nothing more than "eye candy" and as "disposable s*x toys".

how are sweatpants uncomfortable?  i don't understand that part.  just tell him that you feel like sweatpants are bed clothes and you wouldn't feel comfortable wearing them in public.  i would never wear sweatpants in public myself.

i know what you mean about the sweatpants ..it feels like your pad is moving everywhere and the skinny jeans are tight so they keep the pad in place.......try wearing a pair of booty shorts under your sweatpants if your dad wont let you wear your skinny jeans

Sweatpants are the bomb, especially if you are on your period, I love mine and wear them grocery shopping, as well as when I run errands, don't worry, no one else will even notice, nobody cares as much about what you wear, as you do...  I promise.

I'm sure it will be fine, just try to make your dad happy, he's nice enough to take you shopping!

I also wanted to add, how are skinny jeans more comfortable while on your period than sweat pants?

Edit:  I have to agree with Anne M.  Seeing a lady with a bulgy pad is just kinda unattractive.  Trust me, more women (and possibly men) are going to notice you are on your period from your duck walk and seeing your pad than you wearing a pair of sweats.

tell your dad that the sweats are soooo comfy,  you'd much rather wear them to bed tonite!  Tel him that you will sleep GREAT in them!  So you want to save them for bedtime..  go change into your jeans!
