Question

does any one know a site like google maps but live insted of just pictures of the house p.s. im not a stalker its just fun for me to type in my own address and see pics but i just want a site that shows you live footage or a more recent photo

There are a few government agencies (of the &quot;if I told you I&#039;d have to kill you&quot; variety) that have maps like that, but nothing in the civilian sector that doesn&#039;t cost money by the ton.

google earth is more fun bc u play with the actual globe as if its live. but alas it is about 6 months old, to get the live version u need some kind of extreme military clearance =p

edit: if ur lucky u can get to an overhead shot of the house from satellite. in certain areas it gets as detailed as u can make out the type of car in the driveway, but some areas just come out lame. i still recommend downloading google earth for the fun factor. they even have spots marked around the globe where someone has taken a picture from the ground and uploaded it, tagged to that specific location. u mite not have the greatest view of ur house but u will be able to fly around ur house, up the street, and explore around in a very fun way. and u can always type in a specific address and be blasted around the globe to that place. or u can just back out and set the world on a slow spin and watch continents go by.

it seems the map sites are also incorporating satellite pictures now it&#039;s just not as fun to use them. at yahoo maps for example (maps.yahoo.com) u type in address and then at top right of the map u can switch from map to hybrid or satellite.

For it to be live they would have to have a satellite pointed at every location on earth. Msn maps is good. In google maps, they have street mode where it looks like you are walking on the street.
